SCREED

Every floor in a building stands on screed. If it's bad — parquet cracks, furniture wobbles, underfloor heating fails. We install it by machine, to standard, for 18 years.

SCREED

What we do

Cement and anhydrite screed, 2–8 cm

Screed is the layer between the structure and your final floor — and the only layer that can't be fixed later without demolition. We install it by machine, giving uniform thickness and flatness across the whole surface, from a 50 m² apartment to a 20,000 m² hotel. Cement screed is the standard for residential and commercial buildings; anhydrite (liquid) screed is ideal over underfloor heating as it fully envelops the pipes. Floating, bonded or on a separation layer — built to the design.

Why it matters

Bad screed is invisible — until it's too late

Uneven screed means tilers and parquet layers “iron it out” with levelling compounds — and bill you for it. Wrong thickness over underfloor heating brings cold zones and cracks, and bad expansion joints show through tiles within a year. That's why we verify flatness before leaving the site — so the next phase starts without delays.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

How much does screed cost per m²?+

It depends on thickness, type, floor level and site access. That's why we visit for free and send an exact written figure within 48h — no ballpark guessing.

Do you install screed over underfloor heating?+

Yes — one of our most common jobs. Over underfloor heating we recommend anhydrite screed, which fully envelops the pipes.
