Vučko Residence on Jahorina — 211 apartments at around 1,560 m altitude, next to the Poljice gondola: three underground garage levels with 137 spaces, ground-floor commercial space, and a heated glazed walkway to the Aparthotel Vučko, whose spa and restaurant residents share.
At 1,560 metres the site is dictated by snow and a short building season — a lost slot on the mountain means waiting until spring. Some apartments have underfloor heating, and a mountain regime of thirty-degree swings between seasons demands screed with expansion joints that follow that movement.
Baufinal has worked on the Olympic mountains for years — Olympic House on Jahorina and the Džekos Apartments on Bjelašnica are our references. Machine installation on a mountain isn't a luxury but a precondition: large areas must be closed while the weather window lasts.
